Store Shipping Policy

The Staten Island Beer Copmpany, most often, ships orders quickly. Usually the next day. Often sooner than that. The customer will receive a shipping confirmation email at the time the order ships. The email contains shipment tracking information.

Domestic shipments. We offer free ground shipping in the 48 ­contingent states if the customer’s order subtotal is $100 or more. Express shipping options are available at an additional fee. Please allow a few hours for tracking information to register with the shipping company, usually by 6pm the day of shipment.

International Shipments

Shipments outside of the US are sent through a combination of US Post and the customer’s local postal service. International shipments leave through US customs at JFK airport. When an international shipment arrives at the customer’s border, it will pass through the customs administration of the importing country and may be subject to any import duties and taxes levied by the importing country. The customer is responsible for all, if any, customs duties and taxes. Usually small packages pass quickly through customs and on to the customer. International customers should keep in mind that the larger a package is, the more possible customs may take an interest in it. Some countries’ custom agencies and postal services take longer than others to complete delivery. Yes, we’re talking about you, Brazil. International shipments can be tracked to the US border. In many instances, once the package has been transferred to the care of the customer’s local delivery service, the tracking information will  continue to provide shipment updates to the moment of delivery. Although, in some instances, tracking information will cease to be provided after the package leaves the US. Yes, you, Brazil.

Store Returns Policy

The Staten Island Beer Company accepts returns of defective, ill-­fitting, or unused merchandise provided the merchandise has not been used, worn, or washed and is in its original packaging and/or box. We will gladly replace the merchandise or refund the customer’s credit card so long as the original packing slip or order confirmation print­out is included with the returned merchandise. In the case that the original packing slip or order confirmation print­out is not included with the returned merchandise, The Staten Island Beer Company, at its discretion, will either replace the merchandise or refund the customer’s purchasing credit card.

Prior to returning the merchandise, please contact us through our online Contact form for the quickest, most efficient response. Please include your order #, name, and email address you used at checkout.

Size Exchange

If you wish to simply exchange apparel for a different size, you need not email us in advance. Please send the apparel you wish to exchange for a different size to the address above and include a short note explaining that you are returning the unworn, unwashed apparel for a different size. We will send you out the new size as soon as we receive the original item. The Staten Island Beer Company does not reimburse for postage to return merchandise, except when an order is damaged or an item defective. In the case of defective merchandise, we will advise whether to destroy the damaged merchandise or return it to us, in which case we will be responsible for return postage on a case-­by­-case basis.
